The Ascending Batch Winder can be used for winding and unwinding applications.

Especially large and heavy rolls of cloth can be handled in an Ascending Batch Winder because the tubes with cloth are supported in the full width and tension in the cloth is controlled through dancer bars that have an adjustible weight. The required speed of the winder is automatically adjusted through the control system with frequency drive system.

With the optional automatic transverse substrate correction and cloth-side detection perfect straight rolls can be produced. Before the windup an optional spiral roller and bow-bar can be used to flatten the fabric.

When producing knitwear goods with curling edges the edges need to be trimmed before winding onto a core. Motor driven automatically sharpening cutting wheels supply the option to process jersey fabrics onto a roll of cloth ready for use in the digital printing line.
